How Many Bags of Concrete Are on a Pallet?

A pallet of Quikrete Concrete Mix holds 42 bags of 80 lb, 56 bags of 60 lb or 80 bags of 40 lb. These are the counts on Quikrete's own product page for Concrete Mix (product 1101).
Quikrete publishes pallet counts for its 40, 60 and 80 lb bags. For the 50 lb bag or another brand, ask the store how many bags its pallets hold.

The bag counts are Quikrete's. The last two columns are worked out: bags × bag weight, and bags × the yield of one bag from the Quikrete Concrete Mix data sheet (0.30, 0.45 and 0.60 cubic feet).
How much a pallet of concrete weighs
The bags on a full pallet of 80 lb or 60 lb bags weigh 3,360 lb, which is 1.68 short tons. A full pallet of 40 lb bags is 3,200 lb of bags. Add the weight of the wooden pallet itself.
Before you load a full pallet, check the payload rating your truck or trailer maker gives for the vehicle and compare it with the weight above. A store can also deliver the pallet.
How many pallets you need
Pallets = bags needed ÷ bags per pallet. Round down for full pallets and buy the rest as loose bags.

When a pallet is worth it
One pallet of 80 lb bags makes about 0.93 cubic yards of concrete. A job of that size is a slab of roughly 9 ft by 9 ft at 4 inches thick: 81 square feet × 0.333 ft = 27 cubic feet, which is one cubic yard and needs 45 bags.
Some stores price a full pallet differently from loose bags, so compare the store's pallet price with its price per bag.
